On 27 May 2019, Teachers (Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary levels) will be added to the Regional Skill Shortage List (RSSL) for all regions in New Zealand. This means that Immigration New Zealand has acknowledged that there is an immediate need for teachers in New Zealand and have made it easier for qualified teachers to get work visas.
