A big worry for any student going abroad for the first time is about making friends. Don’t worry – we’ve got that sorted. (And we* can probably speak your language – certainly some other students will be able to!)
The Love New Zealand Student Club is a community where international students in New Zealand can get together to know more about this beautiful country, participate in their local events, share their study and life together, and enjoy themselves in different types of activities. It is a place about fun, laughter, joy, and friendship. By adding an additional level of support we believe New Zealand is not only a destination of choosing to study but also a dreamland to fall in love with.
WHO can join?
Anyone can join for FREE, and some activities will be free. Where there is a cost to any activities, GOLD members get a discount of up to 100%, and priority if spaces are limited.
WHO can be a GOLD member?
Any student who has enrolled at any school that is a member of the Choose New Zealand Education Alliance can be a GOLD member.
Short answer: all sorts of things. The activities will range from online prize competitions, social gatherings and special trips, to voluntary work – all organised within a safe environment so that we can know more about each other and know more about New Zealand.
HOW to know what’s going on?
The Facebook page of the Love New Zealand Student Club is the online community, open to all, and our platform to interact and share information. Simply “Like” our page and we will keep you updated.
We* will always be around to answer questions, take on feedback and make sure everyone is having a good time, and we are always open to suggestions!
