COURSE DESCRIPTION
Graduates of the Certificate in Contemporary Music Performance (Level 4) will have skills in the use of music theory, analysis and technology to effectively communicate musical ideas, and will have knowledge of the music industry and the business of music.
Graduates will be able to demonstrate proficiency on their specialist instrument and perform within an instrumental ensemble to an industry standard commensurate with paid performance work at small to medium sized venues as are commonly found in the New Zealand music industry.

- Demonstration of musical ability (Formal/informal/audition)
- English Language: IELTS (academic Test) 5.5, no bands under 5.0, or equivalent.
