COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Diploma in Audio Engineering and Music Production (Level 6) follows on from the Certificate in Audio Engineering and Music Production (Level 5) making a 2 year course.

STUDY HIGHLIGHTS SUMMARY

Advance your practical recording studio and computer-based music production skills to commercially viable levels in line with industry best practice. Enhance your skill set by producing quality audio and music for use in a range of settings, including location recording, multimedia, post-production sound, television, and radio. Hone your skills working with other MAINZ students on a variety of projects. A number of industry-related field trips will give insight into the reality of a career in audio. 

Careers include studio engineer or freelance audio engineer and producer, sound technician for film, television, radio or advertising, self-employment  with your own studio or go on the road as a production specialist, sound engineer for live events, or work in audio sales and service.

  1. Certificate in Audio Engineering and Music Production (Level 5), or equivalent
  2. English Language: IELTS (academic Test) 6.0, no bands under 5.5, or equivalent.
